This website is a Kansas Rural Center initiative designed to increase the sale of specialty crops and locally grown foods in Kansas. To learn more visit the Kansas Rural Center.
How the website works
Specialty crop producers as well as local farmers and ranchers post detailed descriptions about their available products and may post pictures of their items currently for sale. The producers set their own prices and are responsible for creating and updating their own individual listings on this website. Seller’s information may include links to their own farm, ranch, or production websites. Products are organized by product category and producer. Buyers can contact the producers directly through the information listed by the producer. Site members may elect to add their information to maps on the site to increase ease in locating their business and calculating food miles.
This system is designed to complement current direct sales opportunities and farmers’ markets / CSA sales to individual consumers.
A restaurants & markets section showcases businesses that sell specialty crops and value added items.
So why are we doing this?
Institutions, restaurants and individual families are increasingly interested in purchasing locally produced foods and establishing relationships with local producers, but often lack information and time to identify producers that can cater to their needs.

Where are we located?
This website does not have a physical “bricks and mortar” location. All farm and ranch products are maintained by the producer.
